Fourth Grade in the French Quarter

On Friday, December 11, 2009, Danielle
Fletcher and Yulonda Babineaux took their fourth grade students on an
educational field trip to the French Quarter! They took a tour of the beautiful
Saint Louis Cathedral, the oldest Catholic cathedral in continual use in the
U.S. that is overlooking Jackson Square. Students also toured the historic
Hermann-Grima House, one of the best examples of American architecture in the
Quarter.
Later, our St. Pius students had a “rockin” lunch at the Hard
Rock Café. What a memorable day!
