SUGGESTED FUNERAL READINGS
In the Catholic Funeral Mass, there are usually three readings: one from the Old Testament, a second from the New Testament, and the third, the Gospel reading proclaimed by the presiding priest or deacon. There is a responsorial Psalm between the first two readings.
