FOR SPECIAL EVENTS THIS MONTH
- SCHOOL
PARENT ORIENTATION:
On Thursday, September 2nd there will be
School Parent Orientation. The schedule is
as follows:
6:30PM
Grades 1-4
7PM
General Meeting for all parents
7:45PM
Grades 5-7

RACIAL HARMONY MINISTRY:
On Friday, September 10th from 6:45PM to 9PM
at St. Maria Goretti Church in New Orleans East,
the Archdiocese of New Orleans is sponsoring
a “Celebration of Unity Through Prayer and
Cultural Expression.” Archbishop Gregory
Aymond will preside. All are invited to attend.
- BOY
SCOUTS:
On Sunday, September 12th in the cafeteria
from 6PM till 9PM will be an open house for
all boy scouts. This is an event for recruitment
and information.
- PRE-SCHOOL
OF RELIGION REGISTRATION:
On Sunday, September 12th or Sunday,
September 19th, from 10:30AM to 11:00AM,
please come by and register your child for
the Pre-School of Religion in the multi-purpose
room. This ministry is for children from ages 3
through 6 during the 11AM Mass.
- PARISH
SCHOOL OF RELIGION (CCD) REGISTRATION AND ORIENTATION:
On Sunday, September 12th at 9:30AM, there
will be registration and orientation for the
Parish School of Religion, grades 1 through 11.
Please come to the second floor of the school
building. If you have not done so, please pick
up a information packet in the back of Church.
The St. Pius X Parish Calendar is prepared by
the St. Pius X Pastoral Council. This calendar, published monthly, attempts
to alert our parishioners to the events and activities planned for the
month. We hope this publication will encourage you to participate in the
many activities sponsored by our Parish Ministries. For information about
any events or Ministries, please check the bulletin or contact the rectory.
